Second International Symposium on "Confinement-Controlled Chemistry"
Our second international symposium on "Confinement-Controlled Chemistry" has been a full success! From the 19th to 21st September the participants were offered a diverse conference program that was all about understanding how confinement in different dimensions can affect chemical reactions and processes. During these three days, the ZEMOS building of the Ruhr-University Bochum was visited by experts in organic, inorganic, physical and theoretical chemistry from all over the World. This high level of expertise in the field of confinement-related topics contributed to three days full of inspiring talks and fruitful discussions during the poster sessions as well as during the coffee breaks.
Thank you to all invited speakers, chairpersons, participants and the symposium support for your contribution. In particular, we thank the organizing committee of the graduate school (Kseniya Gorbatenko, Gers Tusha, Melinda Nolten and Nicola Bogo) for setting up this great program including 18 invited talks, 6 contributed talks, 2 poster sessions with 33 poster presentations, and for taking care of food, drinks, program booklets and so much more!
The detailed program of the 3-day symposium can be found here here.
