Annual Meeting 2018
The first retreat took place at the Landhotel Klaukenhof, Lennestadt on September 9-15, 2018 and was a full success.
At this one-week retreat all master and PhD students of the Graduate School got together for the first time and presented their research projects within short flash talks. Thus, the starting signal for a cooperative collaboration between our scientists was given.
In order to get a common level of knowledge, the principal investigators and research associates of the collaborating institutions RUB and TUD organized scientific seminars covering all main topics of “Confinement-controlled Chemistry”. These seminars were highlighted by interactive exercises, e.g. preparation and presentation of peer-reviewed articles, group exercises, discussions and hands-on experiments. Besides the transfer of profound scientific knowledge, the tasks of the qualification program as well as the RUB Research School were introduced to the PhD students.
