The second retreat took place at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Bochum on September 16-20, 2019 and included an international 3-day symposium on "Confinement-Controlled Chemistry" and a 2-day lab experience.

Lab Experience

Detailed information on the first part of the retreat (3-day symposium) are found here. While impressions of the 3-day symposium are given here, impressions on the lab experience will be highlighted in the following.
The PhD students got the opportunity to visit the laboratories and work stations of their colleagues. On 19 and 20 September 2019 they gained an insight into the everyday laboratory practice and the applied methods of the collaborating groups. This mutual scientific exchange gave exterior impulses for the on-going work! Further impressions are shown here:
